There is a story of a little lady in the south she was a domestic all her life and had a minimal salary but made wise investments through the years. Upon retirement she had over one million dollars. People were shocked and surprised at her wealth. There was a family that came to America with no money only the clothes on their backs and family recipes. They used to own a restaurant in their war torn country. After much sacrifice they opened a restaurant here in America and they now have one of the best known restaurants on the entire West Coast of the United States. Then there is the story of the son of a single mother, the boy who decorated and sold yard rocks from door to door in Chicago at the age of 5. At the age of 10 he began a club for the kids in his neighborhood who wanted to be entrepreneurs and at the age of 15 he was a millionaire. I have a friend named Rita, she was from a large family from Philly (Philadelphia). We met while we were working for an insurance company in Los Angeles. We were about 19 years old at the time. She began a graphic arts business and by the age of 30 she retired. She did not have to work another day because she was financially secure. She built a very successful business and made wise investments along the way. Poverty is a reality in the lives of many, it is also a state of mind. If you change your thinking, you can change your life. You can rise above the circumstances of life. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. Before you become wealthy in substance you need to be wealthy in your spirit, soul and body. When you have a prosperous soul you are not fearful of losing your money or giving. If you lost it all you realize you have what it takes to get it back again. Money does not define you, you define it.
So make your way prosperous.
